What We Do
Program Coordinator, Law La Say, oversees the treatment of a client in Noe Poe Camp
The DARE Network’s work is two fold: Treatment and Prevention & Education. Within these two main areas, we have numerous programs designed to meet the needs of the refugee and migrant populations of Burma.
Treatment
Culturally appropriate, non-medical treatment of substance abuse is at the core of DARE Network. Through our residential, day and combination programs, DARE Network is able to help refugee and migrant people become substance free.
Prevention & Education
Essential to creating stronger and healthier communities is prevention. By reaching out to people early and often we are able to prevent people from engaging in substance use.
Through our various programs aimed at various refugee and migrant communites, we are able to provide alternative activies and comprehensive education.
