The DARE Network’s unique approach to treatment and prevention & education, has enabled us to achieve great success with minimal resources. As a local organization we have no International overheads. All donations directly benefit the people from Burma.
Treatment & Prevention Costs
- $245 (US) treats one client (Click to view budget)
- $820 (US) funds one Addiction Worker for one year (Click to view budget)
- $1,165 (US) funds DARE For All activities in one camp for a year (Click to view budget)
This year specifically, we have an unexpected increase to our budget as result of the resettlement program.
Over half of DARE Network’s staff have left or will be leaving for Canada, United States, Norway and Austrailia. While this is a move forward in providing safety and security for many refugees, it also means that we must train many new addiction workers to continue to provide much needed services to those left behind.
